Are you in the market to purchase an aged Amazon Seller Account? You’ve come to the right place! Our team carefully curates the market for the highest-quality seller accounts. In today’s post, I’d like to talk about how we evaluate a seller account. Some of the metrics we consider are:
- Marketplaces
- Professional or Individual Accounts
- Age of the account (in other words: when was the account created?)
- Payout schedule and reserve amounts
- Sales History
- Performance metrics (feedback, account health)
- Access to restricted categories, brands, etc.
What markets are open for selling?
If an account is open to selling in multiple markets it has some more potential to reach more people which makes it more valuable. We recently had an account that was able to sell in the Japan and Australia marketplaces. This makes the account more valuable! More Markets = More Customers.
Professional or Individual Account?
While this seems to some a simple question, it’s not always obvious! When we approach a potential customer, who wants to sell an account, it is imperative that the account e basics are not working it’s almost worthless. So, if the account is professional and active in the relevant countries – it’s viable!
What is the Payout Schedule & reserve?
Did you know that there are some accounts with no reserve? And there are even some accounts that payout daily? I’m sure you can imagine: Those are VALUABLE assets!
Performance metrics (feedback, account health)
Among the most important metrics is the health of the Amazon Seller Account. What does that look like? It means that we review factors such as performance notifications, account health, and store reviews to best understand how well you’ve kept your account in good standing. Some specific metrics we look at:
- Performance Index (IPI)?
- Does the account have SFP enabled??
- Has the account been at risk for suspension (and if so, why?)
- Does the store have ample feedback?
Amazon Restricted Products, Limited Categories, Brands and Ungating
Some products and categories that are sold on Amazon require approval or ungating. To apply to sell specific products, you will have to fill out an application process. To get the most up-to-date list of the restricted categories that require approval, head on over to Amazon to see the most up-to-date list. Over time, there have been more and more categories for which Amazon will no longer accept applications. That’s why an account that is “open” to sell restricted products, has brand approval, and is ungated in many categories becomes a premium piece of digital real estate
